Program Overview
What This Program Does
At Reach & Touch Charity Initiative, we believe that education is a fundamental right that should be accessible to every child, regardless of ability or circumstance. Our Education Programmes are designed to remove barriers to learning for children with special needs by promoting inclusive education, improving access to quality learning resources, and creating supportive environments where every child can thrive. We work closely with special and inclusive schools, teachers, parents, government agencies, and community stakeholders to ensure that children with disabilities receive the education they deserve.
Our initiatives include the provision of learning materials, assistive educational technologies, classroom support, teacher training, scholarships, school infrastructure improvements, and educational advocacy. We also organize literacy programmes, digital learning initiatives, and life skills education to equip children with the knowledge and confidence needed for independent living and future employment opportunities. By supporting schools and educators, we strengthen the capacity of learning institutions to provide high-quality, inclusive education that meets diverse learning needs.
Beyond the classroom, our programme focuses on building awareness within communities to reduce stigma and promote acceptance of children with disabilities. Through collaboration and innovation, we strive to create educational systems where diversity is embraced, inclusion is celebrated, and every learner has an equal opportunity to succeed. Our Education Programmes are transforming lives by empowering children with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to reach their full potential while inspiring families and communities to become champions of inclusive education.

A Story of Impact
Improved School Inclusion
An 8-year-old child with developmental challenges was facing exclusion from mainstream classroom participation due to limited understanding of special needs accommodations. Through caregiver guidance and school engagement facilitated by the Initiative, the school adopted adaptive learning strategies. Within one academic year, the child demonstrated improved classroom participation, increased confidence, and better social interaction with peers.
